Hey! I graduated with master's student in Social, Personality, and Affective Science at SFSU in 2022. My research interests focused on sexuality and measurement. My thesis work focused on developing self-report measures that are higher-fidelity to the original research that developed the Kinsey Scale.

Hello, my name is Kara Eytcheson and I graduated from in the Social, Personality, and Affective Science program at San Francisco State University in 2023. I received my BA in Psychology from CSU Channel Islands. My thesis research originally examined prejudice; however, it became a thesis in identifying low-quality responses on Amazon Mechnical Turk. In my spare time, you can usually catch me at an Oakland A’s game with my husband and our two little boys.

My name is Maddie Striegel and I am currently completing my master's thesis in Social, Personality, and Affective Science Psychology. I received my B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. My thesis research focuses on quantitatively measuring experiences of nobinary core identity genderfludity. Outside of the lab my interests include crochet, going to shows, and spending many hours in sunny parks.

 My thesis research focuses on mixed race identity and social factors that promote or inhibit perceivers being able to assert and communicate multiple racial identities.

I’m an undergraduate psychology major in my senior year at SFSU, living on unceded Lisjan (said: lih-SHAWN) Ohlone lands. My pronouns are ze/zir, he/him, and they/them, in rotation, and I’m an Indigenous, Chicane, W. Irish Turtle-Islander who is Two-Spirit and genderfluid. My research interests lie in the experiences of individuals with multiple and intersecting marginalized identities, with emphasis on instances of discrimination and prejudice amongst Two-Spirit/transgender/non-binary Indigenous people. I am also a graduate of the Musician’s Institute film production program in Los Angeles, CA. I believe in the power of research justice, community care, mutual aid, and Indigenous thrivance. I also enjoy fan-fiction, queer tango, cooking, printmaking, and writing poetry.

I graduated with my master's of arts  in Social, Personality, and Affective Science in SFSU in 2020. I am now a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas, San Antonio. My research interests are Nonverbal Behaviors and Intersectionality. I like playing volleyball, hiking, and traveling.

Hello! I am currently a full-time lecturer at San Francisco State University, and graduate of the Social, Affective and Personality M.A. program there in 2018. My current research interests include examining the relationship between competition and prejudice and how this relationship is moderated by perceptions of scarcity.
